Pioneertown, Ca. is located in San Bernardino county among the mesas and canyons in the scenic Mojave - CA's hi desert. We are approximately 30 mins from Palm Springs and 15 mins from Joshua Tree National Park. Candlewood is also convenient to multiple popular show venues - Burbank's LA Equestrian Center; Thermal's HITS; Indio; Del Mar; and Oaks are 2 or less hours away. Las Vegas, Santa Barbara and Phoenix are 4 hrs or less.
Candlewood Stables Equestrian Center is located on 40 acres just off of scenic Pipes Canyon Road - 2 miles from Old Woman's Spring Road (Route 247) in Yucca Valley. At an elevation of 4000' the views are awesome and we have milder summer temps than the neighboring Coachella Valley, the Inland Empire or even the lower elevations in the hi-desert (Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree, Morongo Valley, Apple Valley).
